You are what what you eats eats

Animal-derived protein can be a very important part of your diet. But don't over do it. Foods from higher up in the food chain also contain higher amounts of toxic residues from farming methods, pollution, medications and feed. Limit your consumption of animal protein to high quality sources (organic, grass fed). These are indeed more expensive, but if you spend the rest of your time eating low cost nutrient dense proteins such as beans and lentils, you will even have some spare cash at the end! Think before you eat - make balanced choices for your own health and the welfare of our planet.
